Bowel Cancer NZ
Bowel cancer is the second highest cause of cancer death in New Zealand. It kills as many New Zealanders as breast and prostate cancer combined, and it can affect anyone at any age. But it is treatable – and beatable – if it’s detected early enough.
Do something great by helping us reach our first target. Once we do, we will announce something special.

We are grateful
I love music – I always have. I used to write reviews for rock magazines and was always ahead of the game, the first in town to have the new Grateful Dead LP and everything. I still like keeping up and listen to New Zealand artists.

I wake up every morning and I feel really grateful. I feel grateful for my children. I feel grateful that I've been able to create this life for myself, for them. I'm so grateful that I'm doing what I love.
I'm just grateful that I'm having an amazing life. Someone asked me, "What is your dream?". I turned around to them and said, "I'm living it.". That's as simple as I can put it. I'm living my dream.
Michel Tuffery, Artist
Motherhood was probably the biggest point in my life for gratitude. There is this whole new respect and gratitude for women and for mamas, and the sacrifices made and all you give, and [in turn] what you get back is so special.
My work's all about New Zealand motifs - flora and fauna - acknowledging and celebrating that. There’s a graphic nature that is reminiscent of my Maori heritage and my Chinese heritage.
Shane Hansen, Artist
My life has pretty much completely changed over the past year and I feel very grateful to have had an enormous amount of support and love from complete strangers all around the world.
