On designing the Zambesi print…

The Gothic tile print was adapted from an early graphic we featured in a previous collection. At Zambesi we often look into our archive of graphics to reinvent them for the future, and this was one of those instances. It has since taken on a life of its own!

I love being in the creative industry because it encourages thoughts and dreams, and challenges you.

On living in New Zealand…

I love being in a country where we’re a bit out of the way from the global giants. It feels like we can focus more on what’s really important. 

On community…

There’s a community for many aspects of my life - whether it’s an online community or my gym family or the people in my neighbourhood. It’s nice to feel like you’re a part of something and to feel like you can be both supportive and receive support in return. 

On three words that sum up being grateful…

Perspective, positivity, peace.

On being grateful…

I often feel gratitude when I reflect on how lucky I am to have been born in New Zealand. I also feel so grateful for my amazing family and their good health. 

On being involved in Great Full…

This gave us an awesome opportunity to support Starship Foundation. Also, I’m all for getting Zambesi onesies out in the world!
